Frogs & Ponds Unit Study Resources

Frogs and ponds resources by Green Urban Mama

This is an evolving post which I will continue to update with website links for resources and materials we are using in our Frogs & Ponds Unity Study. My kids are 3 and 2, so this unit study is geared towards younger preschoolers. My goal is to take 2 leisurely weeks to cover age-appropriate (aka engaging for short attention spans) aspects of frogs and ponds.

Gentle + Classical Preschool

  • We are using this incredible free Charlotte Mason-inspired Christian curriculum by Erin at Life Abundantly Blog as the backbone of our preschool at home. Frogs are the science element for Unit 1. I plan to lean heavily on the science component of this curriculum and build our other studies around it.

  • This website is such a God-send for those of us with limited budgets but a love for high quality materials! If you love Montessori and bright, engaging printables then this website is for you! We are using the Amphibians of the World cards for this unit.

Love all of this! I am starting Gentle + Classical Preschool Level One with my 2&1/2 year old son this fall and love getting to see someone else using it with young children. Thank you for sharing all your resources and ideas!
